Sunday Sermon

In every war Collateral Damage is inevitable. When we fight for our Christian Faith – we have to be wise and fight every battle right!  Knowing HOW to choose our Battles wisely – so we don’t lose the WAR!  In Ephesians 6… Paul gives every follower of ‘THE WAY’ a strategy to FIGHT  RIGHT and keep perspective in your battles – “Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies and tricks of the Devil. Use every piece of God’s armor to resist the enemy in the time of evil, so that after the battle you will still be standing firm. For we are not fighting against people made of flesh and blood, but against the evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against those mighty powers of darkness who rule this world, and against wicked spirits in the heavenly realms.”  He then proceeds to explain to us EACH PIECE of our Spiritual Armor that we must ‘PUT ON’ in order to be properly equipped… BELT OF TRUTH / BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS / SHOES OF FAITH / SHIELD OF FAITH / HELMET OF SALVATION / SWORD OF THE SPIRIT – and in ALL things… PRAY!  These words are not just LIP SERVICE – the intention is to prepare you each and every time for your ULTIMATE FIGHTING CHALLENGE!
