Joy beyond Circumstance.

Again thanks to Josh for the insight on this one!

How many people do you know that seem to relentlessly complain about life? They have a sob story pre-loaded ready to go. They have something bad to say. Defining their lives by what they are against rather than what they are for. They life a life of one unfortunate mishap after another. Do you get a sense that their life is getting worse, every single day? They will get less opportunity, more no’s, and fewer invitations. Negativity is contagious and people often don’t want to be around it.

As a Christian you have the ability to choose joy despite your circumstance.

When you focus on the Bright Spots of your life, they become magnified. If you focus on the negatives, they will also become magnified.

So take some time and write down some of the things that are going right in your life, how has God been blessing you?

1) What are you excited about?

2) What are you thankful for?

3) What do you love?

4) Who loves you?

5) What ways has God used you?

Remind yourself everyday of these questions. Focus on the bright spots of life.
